By the way, the problem you will meet most probably is the mis-alignment of the tube against the forks. I know that Autostar #497 is able to correct the orthogonal error induced by the misalignment but I don't know how well it works.
My suggestion is that if it does not affect the optical quality, leave it a lone as a mark of age. :D
