    Have you tried to use a mask in front of your corrector? maibe a Harttman mask with three circular holes could work.
    It would reduce the light that your scope recolects but it could serve to see bright objects.

    I am going to try to block cracked part by using a customized cardboard. It
    will enhance the view for sure but the amount of light gathered will be
    reduced by around 15%. A Harttman mask is not a good solution as it will block
    quite a lot of incoming photons.

    I just observed the moon just now. The image seems to be flawless. There is only a slight degrade of image quality when I use 12.5mm eyepiece with 2x barlow lens, resulting a magnification of 333X. Well, I will call up Meade tomorrow to see how much it cost to fix the telescope.
